The Scientific Education and Research Institute’s amphitheater is 3,000 square feet and can seat up to 95 people. The SERI amphitheater has a 9’x11’ projection screen and two side plasma screens with the capability to broadcast three different video inputs at once. The doors and window shades are automated and the seating is tiered. SERI has full video conferencing abilities and can broadcast video between all parts of the facility including the bioskills cadaver lab, OR, board rooms, and amphitheater. SERI also has the capabilities to record your medical training course and make a movie or DVD out of it. SERI provides high speed wireless internet access at no additional charge.

Welcome to The Scientific Education and Research Institute (SERI) Education site. Here you can find educational videos taken in the SERI cadaver bioskills lab. The Scientific Education and Research Institute (SERI) is an innovative and state-of-the-art medical education facility. SERI has outstanding A/V capabilities for your medical venue. This medical education facility can broadcast live surgeries or cadaver lab demonstrations from the OR or bioskills lab to our 3,000 sq. ft. amphitheater. The bioskills lab, OR, and amphitheater can all be connected simultaneously with audio and video for your specific medical device course needs. SERI has two different bio-skills labs. The bio-skills labs are supplied with a vast variety of general surgical instruments including scalpels, forceps, 4x4s, metzenbaum scissors, iris scissors, hemostats, needle holders, retractors, rongeurs, cob elevators, curettes, mallets, osteotomes, and much more. The Scientific Education and Research Institute’s bioskills cadaver lab also has endoscopes and light sources, Surgis surgical lights equipped with cameras, a microscope, drills, and saws. We have two C-arms and plenty of leads provided free of charge that are available on weekends or during the week after 5pm. We also partner with MedicaEdge, a device company that can provide bovies, suction, and additional C-arms if necessary.
