The Scientific Education and Research Institute has bioskills labs that will surely exceed your medical device demonstration needs. The SERI bioskills cadaver lab has a clean room with scrubs and personal protective equipment for your participants. Two dressing rooms are available for your medical device participants to change into scrubs. The bioskills lab has 4 built in surgical lights equipped with cameras. The cadaver lab also has a room camera that can be broadcasted into our amphitheater. This bio-skills lab has a 4-6 cadaver station capacity. Two plasma screens can be found in the bio-skills lab that can display c-arm x-rays, endoscope video, power-point slides, or video feed from one of our cameras. Three endoscope towers are available in the cadaver lab as well as a microscope, saws, and drills. The Scientific Education and Research Institute also has a specimen room inside the bioskills cadaver lab as well as a instrument washer and tool room. SERI can provide any of our basic surgical instrumentation free of charge including scalpels, forceps, 4x4s, metzenbaum scissors, iris scissors, hemostats, needle holders, retractors, rongeurs, cobb elevators, curettes, mallets, osteotomes, and much more. We have two C-arms and plenty of leads provided free of charge that are available on weekends or during the week after 5pm. We also partner with MedicaEdge, a device company that can provide bovies, suction, and additional C-arms if necessary.

The Scientific Education and Research Institute (SERI) is an innovative and state-of-the-art medical education facility. SERI has outstanding A/V capabilities for your medical venue. This medical education facility can broadcast live surgeries or cadaver lab demonstrations from the OR or bioskills lab to our 3,000 sq. ft. amphitheater. The bioskills lab, OR, and amphitheater can all be connected simultaneously with audio and video for your specific medical device course needs. SERI has two different bio-skills labs.
