Each year, SERIs non-profit counterpart, The Spine Education and Research Institute awards science education scholarships to young, enthusiastic individuals pursuing an education in the medical, allied health, and/or life sciences. These scholarships are designed for students who are interested in careers of medicine, healthcare, veterinary, biology, chemistry, or other life sciences related occupations.
Students interested in applying for a scholarship should complete an application. An incomplete application will result in disqualification.
To be considered for a Scholarship, the following items must be received by May 15, 2010. The scholarships will be awarded in August.
Scholarship Criteria:
1.Must be an incoming college freshman attending a college/institution within the state of Colorado
2.Completed Application
3.Grade transcript
4.Personal letter (500 words or less) explaining desire to receive scholarship
5.Two letters of recommendations, one of which is from a non-related teacher or counselor
6.Chosen institute of higher education must be located in Colorado
